The Neville Brothers made a bid for pop/rock stardom with the well-produced A&M debut album "Yellow Moon." For this album, they enlisted the help of producer Daniel Lanois to meld their voices and rhythms with his swampy dreamscapes. Continuing with its vinyl reissue initiative, UMe will be reissuing this classic back on standard weight black vinyl for the first time in over 20 years.
The music is obviously amazing and wonderful. If you don't recognize the name of the group you have most likely heard some of their music. It will be one of those songs you always loved but never knew the name or the performer. HOWEVER, the package took a week to be processed by the original vendor, who submitted a review request before even mailing it, then canceled the order and transferred it to a different vendor which shipped it promptly. Be very careful about the vendor you choose.
