Unlike most reviewers, I am writing this in hindsight, after using this belt for over a year now. I am 6'0" 178lbs Judoka, trained with this belt 2-4 times a week every week the past year + some tournaments. I had a size 3, which was perfect in length at 105" (and not as the seller writes).Writing this as I just saw some really negative reviews, so wanted to share my experience. My take on this is that most bad reviews are from Karatekas, which makes sense to me, as this is NOT a Karate belt - it is stiff and does not drape down.As others wrote, it feels like the interior is foam and the belt is a bit stiff and very light. However, after a few uses it breaks in, so the knot keeps tied reasonably well (although it produces a relatively small and flat knot) with the standard Judo knot (ends tucked between the two layers) and the ends keep some stiffness so they do not droop down like a karate belt, but stay like an upward pointing chevron. For me that's good and that's what I expect from a Judo belt. Hate the soft, droopy belts.Regarding durability - yes, some threads came out but the belt held up pretty well, Especially considering the action it got, including some gripping and dragging drills with the belt (think dragging a 200lbs guy holding the other side of the belt).Agree with other reviewers - the quality is not as good as Fuji or Mizuno, for example, which are both a bit wider, significantly thicker and stiffer and hold a larger, prettier knot.Overall, it provides good value for money. A green belt judoka doesn't need anything more that this one, so if the price is right for you, just get it.
